The DEE Technique, which has been used in numerous sectors by clients around the world through a PC-based program, has been completely updated to be web-enabled and is now live. It will continue to provide all of the features and key functions that existing users are familiar with and appreciate. These are summarised in the downloadable document 'DEE Technique - overview' on our home page ). The new web-enabled version has been enhanced to take advantage of the latest web technologies and software developments.
It offers the ability to create snapshots to benchmark against best practices in any sector to identify strengths and weakeneses. These snapshots can then be compiled into an album allowing comparison with other similar entities, organisations or locations and against the averages of all or any desired subset of other snapshots. This encourages the identification of potential areas for collaboration and exchange of expertise with neighbouring institutions. The benchmarking templates used in creating snapshots can then be used to develop remedial action plans to rectify any particular areas of concern. The DEE software can then be used to assess and monitor progress towards developmental impacts and outcomes during the project. This is an important distinction, as other systems often only allow such assessment of developmental progress afer the project, when it is too late to do make effective changes. Use of the DEE Technique and software permits appropriate action to be taken to bring things back on track during the project - this significantly increases the likelihood of the work being able to deliver the agreed outcomes and objectives by the end of the monitoring period
